The MA Warthog is a superhot Capsicum chinense bred by Matthew Arthur from a Wartryx × 7 Pot Primo cross. This is an unstable variety, so you can expect variation in pod shape and size. The seeds I’m offering here come from the monster plant I featured through my 2025 growing season on YouTube. Its also the same plant I got the pod from that I tried on livestream, resulting in the hottest chilli I have ever eaten.
Pods are gnarly and heavily wrinkled, ripening from green to red with brutal, lingering heat and a fruity, floral flavour. It’s a beautiful, highly productive plant that can grow into a real monster if given enough space and a long, warm season. Over the coming years, I’ll be working to stabilise this line into a more consistent cultivar.

Seeds Quality
Every seed we sell is grown at the ChilliChump homestead, so we control the whole process from sowing to harvest. Seeds are handpicked from healthy plants, processed using methods we’ve refined over the years, and germination-tested before they reach you.
Unless a listing says otherwise, every variety we sell is a stable line (F7+), so it breeds true season after season and won’t throw unexpected traits on its own. That leaves one thing to manage: cross-pollination, where stray pollen reaches a flower on an insect or a gust of wind while it’s in bloom. We take more care over isolation than most, which keeps the risk small, but no outdoor grower can rule it out entirely, so we don’t claim 100% purity. The only way to
TRULY isolate chilli varieties is to grow just one variety within a quarter-mile to a mile radius from any other chilli pepper variety.
