The Criolla de Cocina is a productive Nicaraguan heirloom sweet pepper that grows easily and yields early. This Capsicum annuum variety produces large, wrinkled pods with unique and varied shapes. The fruits mature from green to deep red and have a rich, full flavour with little to no heat. Plants are vigorous and reliable, performing well even in cooler conditions. The pods are ideal for roasting, stuffing or using fresh in sauces, offering excellent texture and taste straight from the garden. They are great to snack on straight off the plant.
