The Yellow 7 Pot chilli, hailing from Trinidad, is renowned for its extreme heat and distinctive fruity flavour. Its name stems from the claim that a single pod can heat up to seven pots of stew. The wrinkled pods mature from green to a vibrant yellow, each weighing up to 20 grams. This variety is a prolific producer, with plants reaching over a metre in height. Use sparingly in hot sauces and salsas to impart a tropical zest.

The plant grows to an impressive size and yields a generous crop of sizeable pods.
