The Yaki Blue is a striking chilli variety resulting from a cross between Bhut Jolokia and Filius Blue. Its pods transition from a deep purple to a rich burgundy as they mature, delivering an intense heat of approximately 750,000 SHU. This Capsicum chinense variety offers a distinctive floral aroma, making it ideal for crafting homemade hot sauces, chilli salts, or powders. The plant reaches about 1.5 metres in height and thrives best when shielded from direct sunlight.
