At a glance: UK orders typically arrive within 2–4 business days of dispatch. International orders take 1–8 weeks depending on destination.

Processing & Dispatch

Orders are dispatched within 5 business days. We do a weekly post office run every Thursday, so your order will go out on the next available Thursday after processing.

UK Delivery

Most UK orders arrive within 2–4 business days after dispatch. A tracking option is available at checkout if you’d like to follow your parcel’s progress.

International Delivery

We ship seeds worldwide and we’re always happy to have international customers. A few things to be aware of before you order:

  • Delivery time: 1–8 weeks, depending on destination and local postal services. Some countries are quicker than others, and delivery times can be unpredictable.
  • Tracking: Not available on international orders.
  • Customs and import rules: Every country has its own regulations around importing seeds. Clearance times vary, and in some cases seeds may be delayed, held, or refused entry by customs. It’s worth checking your country’s import rules before ordering. The responsibility for complying with local import requirements rests with you as the buyer.
  • Duties and taxes: Shipping charges do not include any local duties, taxes, or handling fees that may be applied in your country. These are payable by you on delivery.
  • Phytosanitary certificates: We’re unable to provide phytosanitary certificates with orders. In the UK, obtaining one requires a government inspection starting at around £150 per consignment, which isn’t practical for individual seed orders. Some countries technically require these for import. If your country requires a phyto cert, please be aware that your order may be at greater risk of being stopped at the border.

A note on risk: We do everything we can to package and post your seeds promptly, but once a parcel leaves the UK, it’s in the hands of international postal services and customs authorities. We can’t take responsibility for orders that are delayed, lost in transit, or seized by customs. We know that’s not ideal, and we wish we could offer more protection, but the reality of international postal services and the sheer variety of customs regimes around the world make it impossible for a small business to guarantee delivery. If you’ve had trouble receiving mail-order seeds in your country before, that’s worth factoring into your decision.

Returns & Refunds

If a parcel is returned to us, we’re happy to work with you. You can choose a reshipment (you cover the new postage cost) or a refund of the product cost once the items are received back in their original condition. Shipping fees are not refundable.
