Int'l These CC Fushimi seeds are from a Fushimi plant I have been selectively breeding to have some unique traits! It starts out with variegated, asymmetrical leaves. When the chillies started to appear there is a distinct striping, which faded as they ripened to red (but are still barely visible). The flavour is as you would expect from a Fushimi, delicious!

Bought seeds last year as mine weren’t viable (regular Fushimi). Around 90% sprouted quickly, the remaining 10% appeared later.
The reactions to it were: “looks kinda weird” or “what happened to that pepper?”. Of course there was nothing wrong, plants were healthy, with strong variegation. I grew them in “Quad-grow” system in my cool greenhouse over the cloudy season of 2024 in Northern Ireland. One plant was transplanted to a regular 10L pot. Those in Quad-grow system grew much better. Overall, I managed to get 4 harvests in the course of the season.
These peppers ale stunning, grow vigorously, and it’s a striped Fushimi, what’s not to love. Would have bought again but still have few seeds left, instead I decided to write a quick review.
