The Big Red Mama chilli, another superhot beauty developed by Troy Primo, is a formidable cross between the Naga Morich and Trinidad 7 Pot Douglah varieties. This hybrid is renowned for its intense heat and distinctive appearance.
The plants are vigorous, often exceeding 1.5 metres in height, and produce an abundance of large, wrinkled pods that mature from green to a vibrant red hue. The chillies have a fruity, aromatic flavour with a pungent bite, typical of super-hot varieties.
