The Diablo is a high-yielding ox-horn sweet pepper variety, producing long, pointed fruits that mature to a glossy ruby-red hue, typically reaching up to 16cm in length. These peppers boast smooth skin and thick, crunchy, sweet flesh, making them ideal for stuffing, salads, and adding depth to soups and stews. The plant exhibits an erect habit with medium internode spacing and requires strong support due to the weight of its abundant fruit. Recognised for its excellence, the Diablo variety was awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2005.
