Introducing the 2025 ChilliChump Seed Kit (CCSK2025)!
Grow along with me on my YouTube channel in 2025!
The varieties in this years seed kit:
Padron (~2,500 SHU)
Padrón peppers, sometimes called pimento de padrón, hail from Galicia’s Padrón region in northwest Spain. These small green peppers are typically around 3 inches long, transitioning from a bright green to a rich red as they mature. While most are mild, a few can surprise you with a spice kick! They are traditionally prepared as tapas, but they are pretty versatile and can be used in many dishes!
Turkish Flower (~5,000 SHU)
This stunning chilli variety stands out with its unique, ornamental appearance. The pods grow in vibrant clusters, resembling small, colourful bouquets of flowers. Not just a feast for the eyes, these chillies offer a delightful flavour with a pleasant kick of heat, making them perfect for both culinary and decorative purposes.
Serrano Tampiqueno (~25k SHU)
The Serrano Tampiqueño is a cherished Mexican chilli variety, renowned for its vibrant flavour and moderate heat. Measuring approximately 2 inches in length, these slender, glossy peppers mature from green to red, offering a Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) range of 8,000 to 25,000. Their crisp texture and bright, biting flavour make them ideal for fresh salsas, sauces, and pickling.
Basket of Fire (~80k SHU)
The Basket of Fire chilli pepper is a compact, bushy plant ideal for containers and hanging baskets. Its small, hot chillies mature from deep purple through yellow and orange to bright red, creating a vibrant display.
Naga Morich (~1.2 million SHU)
a renowned chilli variety from North East India and Bangladesh, is celebrated for its fiery heat and bold flavour. Its bumpy pods mature from green to vibrant red, delivering a scorching heat of up to 1,500,000 SHU. This Capsicum chinense chilli offers a rich, fruity taste with smoky undertones, making it a favourite for creating intensely spicy sauces and marinades.
CC Jigsaw Brain (~1.6 million SHU)
This is a superhot chilli I have been working on for a while now. It combines a Jigsaw with a 7Pot Brainstrain. Its an absolute scorcher! I would estimate this to be well above 1.6 million SHU. While I wanted the extreme heat levels, I also wanted to create a chilli that tasted and looked good. I am really pleased and proud of my creation, I hope you will enjoy growing it!
