The Wartryx is a formidable chilli variety renowned for its intense heat and distinctive appearance. Developed by Matthew Arthur, this Capsicum chinense hybrid is a cross between the Trinidad Scorpion, 7 Pod Jonah, and Ubatuba Cambucci peppers.
I tried this variety on a livestream. It was agony (if the video doesn’t go directly to the part where I eat it, it is at 1 hour and 2 minutes):
Its wrinkled pods mature from green to a vibrant red, delivering a scorching heat ranging from 1,000,000 to 1,400,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU).
Beyond its fiery punch, the MA Wartryx offers a sweet, fruity flavour with subtle floral notes, making it a unique addition to super-hot sauces and chilli powders.

Seeds Quality
Every seed we sell is grown at the ChilliChump homestead, so we control the whole process from sowing to harvest. Seeds are handpicked from healthy plants, processed using methods we’ve refined over the years, and germination-tested before they reach you.
Keeping our seed true to type is something we work hard at. The only way to truly isolate a chilli variety, though, is to grow it with no other chilli plant within a quarter of a mile to a mile, and no grower with a collection can do that. So we don’t claim 100% purity. The chance of a stray cross is small. If something grows out differently to what you expected, please get in touch. We’d rather hear about it than not.

If you would like to return your product for a refund, the item must unopened and in its original condition. Refunds are accepted up to 60 days after purchase.
If our products arrived damaged, rotten or contaminated in any way, please contact us right away and we will be happy to send a free replacement or refund regardless of its expiration date.
Occasionally seeds produce something that is not “true to type”, or you may have less than satisfactory germination rates. If this happens please get in contact and let us know the details. We want you to be a happy customer. We will do our best to help, and will provide a refund for the seeds if you are still dissatisfied.
