It’s origin is really 50% sweet bell pepper and 50% Bhut Jolokia. I did the cross in 2007 as a hobby project.
I selected 11 years for size, thick flesh an medium heat until it was stable and so it got a mostly Anuum phenotype and sadly lost a lot of Chinese characteristics.
